Bringing Home the Bacon

Woohoo! Last night will be a night I will always remember. I went to the local Addy Awards Gala and came home a winner. I had 3 entries in the event and came home with 2 Gold Addys and 1 Silver Addy.  I couldn’t be happier. It was truly amazing to win my first design award. What’s even cooler is the fact that my very first Addy was a Gold Addy and for my very first website. That’s an awesome start. The Silver Addy is kind of messed up though. It’s suppose to have our lead designer’s name on it as well since we worked on it together but they seemed to have left it off for some reason. I guess they figured he had too many already lol. In total, my company submitted 7 entries into the event and all 7 won awards. I took some pictures at he event with my phone but the quality is pretty piss-poor so I will be using one of the photos taken by my coworker, Auguszta Billedi. In the photo above you can see our award winning team bringing home the bacon! From left to right we have Auguszta Billedi, myself and Brandon Rager our Lead Designer. These are my first awards but not for Auguszta and Brandon, they’ve won plenty of times before. I can now count myself among the ranks of award-winning designers. It’s a great feeling.
